Shatili ist schon fast an der Grenze zu Tschetschenien. Kurz nach dem Dorf sieht man hoch oben den georgischen Grenzwachposten stehen. Gleich unten drunter haben wir drei interessant-traurige Gruften besucht. Die Geschichte dazu: im 18. Jahrhundert w\u00fctete auch hier in den Bergen die Pest. Als die Bewohner von Anatori merkten, dass sie ansteckend waren, errichten sie abseits vom Dorf diese Gr\u00e4ber, legten sich hinein und warteten bis sie starben. Der Sage nach hat trotz dieser Massnahme nur ein 12j\u00e4hriger Hirtenjunge im benachbarten Shatili Unterschlupf gefunden und so \u00fcberlebt. Wir haben unseren Wandertag jedenfalls genossen und sind schon gespannt was uns die Guesthouse-Mama heute zum Znacht vorsetzt&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\"
